Our agencies spend a lot of time and energy on training new employees to be successful through Field Training Officer programs. However, when it comes to leadership and supervision, our time spent is minimal. Yet, this is one of the most important links to success for new supervisors and the organization. This one-day program is utilized to explain the importance of this concept and begin shaping our profession towards a new paradigm in training our leadership.
