New Jersey Open Public Records Act

This class is specifically designed to assist government officials in New Jersey with the understanding of the Open Public Records Act. Instruction will review the exceptions to release, case law that has been decided over the past years, and create an opportunity for dialogue to discuss the issues and events that have occurred within our areas of responsibility.

This class is designed for interaction between those assigned to areas where release of information is part of their work responsibility such as police supervisors, clerks, records supervisors, attorneys and other employees serving this function.

This course has previously been approved by the DLGS for CMFO, CTC, CPWM, RMC, and QPA CEU’s
