Course Overview:
Bridgeport Police Department will be formally announcing their promotional test for the rank of Sergeant very soon. Start now by brushing up on common items normally listed on the announcement. Once the formal reading list is announced, any additional information will be broken down for our students.
Our courses feature 24/7 access to materials through the J. Harris Police Training App or through our student portal on our website homepage. Once registered, candidates have instant access to our online resources. Depending on the item, candidates may find study guides, online quizzers, online flashcards, practice exams, video lessons, and/or audio files.
This course is specifically designed to provide Bridgeport Officers with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to understand and apply key areas of the resource material, “best practices”, policy, and management theory for their upcoming promotional exams. Our hybrid design allows officers to study ONLINE materials prior to attending in-person lectures (if applicable).
