Command Series Level 2: Developing “Next Level” Middle Managers

$595.00

Middle managers face many challenges in their role. Learning to follow the vision of Chief/Director, managing their role in the middle of the organization, maintaining supervisory control over their direct reports and assisting with building momentum for the future are all essential aspects necessary to succeed.  Many of our Mid-Level Leaders truly don’t know their job or what it entails. They think they may know because they watched the men/women holding the position before them. This usually leads to ineffectiveness in the position through trial and error development.

This three-day program will review the critical areas necessary for Mid-Level Leaders to succeed. It is perfect for those getting ready for the transition to middle management as well as for seasoned managers seeking continuing education and leadership training. Middle-management leaders will learn the most up-to-date trends in leading, documenting, budgeting, commanding, and strategic thinking. They will learn and understand how their position carries out the vision of the top executives while balancing the needs of the our people.

What some students are saying:

This course is by far the best training I have attended related to police management. The material presented by each of the instructors helped me realize the importance of enhancing my own management skills. This class is a must for both new and seasoned Police administrators.

Lt. John Sachau

After having attended this course, I had found that the level of knowledge and experience these instructors had to offer was well worth the investment. They guided us through our role and responsibilities as middle managers and stressed the importance of having the tools needed to accomplish our goals and objectives.
